Thats normal for those types of missions. They always give you a clue as to where to go. From the looks of things you need to go someplace sandy, most likely a desert. All I can tell you is to go to different locations that fit the description till you find the right one.
Maybe it's a special mission. I'll check it when I'm done in dark crater.
