you can only do it after you graduate, other wise it wont work
after you get far enough in the game (cant remember how far)talk to loudred at the hole ( sometimes he wont be there) and you can do it
First beat the game then right after you gradutate talk to Loared. He will tell you if you want to do sentry duty. If you do very well you get to get Reviver seed.
