How to evolve your starter/partner pokemon

I don't know how to evolve my starter/partner pokemon. None of these questions and answers have helped me at all! This is what I have done so far. I have completed the main story,I have saved scisor,I have defeated frosslas, I have caught Daialga, I have caught Palkia, I have recruited Cresselia, I have defeated Darkria, and I have recruited Manaphy when he came back home... Yet, it still won't let me evolve! What haven't I done yet? All I know is that I haven't completed the "Final Maze" the one in the training place with marrowack.

There is a place, it has Lake in it's name, you go into the lake and evolve.

Luminious spring. Go there and Make sure you have atleast the diamond rank. Then you can evolve!

Just wait a couple days Manaphy will tell you about a place called Marine Resort. Manaphy will come to Sharpedo Bluff in the morning and tell you about it... You don't have to go to the dungeon but after the "you can now go to Marine Resort" on your map opens you can evolve..

And unless you want Jirachi, Suicune, and Moltres you don't have to go through the final maze in Marowak Dojo. PS. Just like the other mazes your treasure bag will be emptied so you don't need the Secret Stoneplate or Enigma Part...
