The wsy to get more team members is if you beat them and if they think you're good, they would like to join you. This is an optional choice so you don't have to if you want. Hope this helps you out.
You have to fight wild Pokemon from dungeons. When you beat them, sometimes they will ask if they can join you. You can let them or not. It's like from Red and Blue dungeons games.
When your fighting through dungeons when you beat a Pokemon sometimes only sometimes it'll ask to join you, you can say yes or no. If yoiu mean more than four members in your team then you can't.
