How do you evolve a pichu into a pikachu? Because I have a level 40 pichu and it wont evolve. Can anyone help me plz I'm in desprate need of a reply

(without action replay or stuff might i add)

You Have too Complete The Second bit of the game you know with manaphy and all
Your Pichu must have an IQ anywhere above 2 stars. Now all you have to go to Luminous Springs anytime after you beat the guild.
I believe that you need to have a high enough IQ level.
