Gather as many seeds as you can find whether they be totter, blinder, ect. Seeds. I used doom seeds as well as one totter seed and two blinder seeds. Throw them at him so he can not attack you very easily. Then beat him up. If one of the seeds wears off, throw another one.

I beat him quite easily because I was lvl 83 when I beat him. I used 5 gold seeds on both me and my partner and I just kept using dig and pikachu used thunderbolt(i am a chimchar by the way)

I was a Chimchar level 54 and my partner a level 51 and I beat him. Be at least this level. Get a least 3 sleep seeds and use your strongest moves on him and when he wakes up throw another sleep seed at him. I didn't use a single reviver seed on him. If you aren't this high of level I suggest training till you get to the peak then go back and keep doing that untill you think your strong enough. Don't die untill then.

When I had to fight him, I was somewhere between lv. 50-60. I was a treeko and my partner was a chimchar. I just threw 1 sleep seed at him (he never woke up!) and I kept using giga drain. My point is... Using sleep seeds is very effective.
