Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

Yo
I don't get the rescue code thing. For example I post a rescue code because I'm stuck or something right? And then you do it and what is the A-ok thing? And thing what do you post? And last thing how would I send you the reward?

1) If you die, you choose to send a distress call and you select Friend Rescue>Get Help>Send SOS Mail. Give the code so everyone can save you
2) When they done, they will send you an A-OK mail, again Friend Rescue>Get Help>Get A-OK Mail and type it in.
3) You may want to send a Thank-You Mail. Again Friend Rescue>Get Help>Send Thank-You Mail. There will be an option for you to send item or not. Then the code will appear on the screen. Give it to who save you. Then resume your game

You get the rescue code then your friend types it in and he will go into your dungeon, and try to rescue you, if he does he will have to send you an a-ok mail to prove you have be rescued, if you want to send them an award then simple send then a thank-you mail

If you and your friend both have ds I think you can transfer the code straight away without having to type the code
