Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

Please help! I've been stuck for two months awaiting rescue, and it's my favorite game! My code is P5?668RF571??3FP?K?-?????F?8?!?85HH???X?!(boy sign)23?88??R208(dot dot dot thing.)

I died in fiery field 1st floor. Don't call me stupid! I'm a Charzard and My Partner used earthquake when I was near!

How does a Charizard die from Earthquake, it's part flying, o_O.

Ok here's a tip so that don't happen again go on moves then go on whatever your partners called moves then press earthquake then it should say switch press that and a star should disapear(excuse my spelling)from the move.that means you parnter won't use the move.
