Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

How do I get celebi from the purity forest. I use venusaur most of the time. I heard alakazam works good and do I need to do anything to get kadabra apart from defeating it or is it easier to get an abra and evolve it??

Try an Alakazam. Make sure it has Teleport. You need a lot of food so you can fill your belly constantly, recovery stuff, blah blah blah.

Then again, Venusaur can really work!

Celebi is a Grass/Psychic type...isn't better to use a fire type?

Alakazam is easily the best Pok�mon to use in Purity Forest. Recruit an Abra from Solar Cave and evolve it.

Get a Kadabra from Solar Cave,go to the Luminous cave(Kadabra should be high enough to evolve already, once evolved into Alakazam go to Purity Forest(don't bring any items or money this includes held items)

When you find a Parasect or a Venomoth, Teleport away(they can kill you in 1 hit)

Celebi joins your team without a fight. Or at least that is what happened for me I don't know if your game is different but if it is BLUE rescue team he/she (I'm not sure what it is I don't think it has a gender) will join your team without a fight. Hope I helped
