How do you beat GROUDON?

You do know that groudon is a Ground type....weak agains water types....A nice Hydro Pump or Ice Beam could kill it..Pika can't do anything...Cyndaquil might have a chance of weakening it...level 40+ is ok..IMO

I beat him with the same 2 Pokemon and they were both at level 28, it took me 2 times though, I saved at the khanghaskan** statue and when I died I just tried again from there, but if your not at that level, try to get a grass type Pokemon to go with you because groudon is ground type, not fire like most people think, so there you go...

To beat Groudon, you should try to get some water type Pokemon. I'm not sure if you can get these yet, but I suggest a Mudkip or a Poliwag or something like that. Any will work. You shouldn't waste your time with electric attacks, because it won't effect him (he's ground type). Your level should probably be somewhere in the 20s...but I kind of forgot a little, so sorry if this doesn't work for you.

Well to remind you,groudon is a ground type which he has a GREAT advantage against you.As for cynda just set smokescreen and ember.

Don't listen to cyber_john3000 level 40 WRONG I killed rayquser at only level 34 with a charmander and a level 35 squrital so level 40 just to kill grounen is absolutley stupid!!! Ab out level 25-30 should do if you take some revier seeds with you.

fire[cyndquil] and electric[pikachu] types are WEAK facing ground[groudon] types.

I'm a level 29 or 30 Pikachu parthner Charmander same level and a level 20,21 or 22 Wooper.Can I win?

I have now a level 28 cyndaquil and a level 26 treecko
I haven't beat him already but I think I you should train your Pokemon to level 32 train your Pokemon in magma cavern around floor 10 you get there a lot of EXP.

Well also a grass starter would help too, since I started as chickorita with a cyndaquil as a partner - I did quite well

If you have a pickachu try useing thunder wave thatw ill stun him for a while also if you have mudkip try useing water typ moves like:mud-slap and water gun it's also good to have revive and sleep seeds and oran berries hope this helps

You can defeat Groudon with ANYTHING at around level 30, I defeated him with a level 28 Pikachu and a level 29 Charmander. Doesn't matter what Pokemon you take, just bring tons of Reviver seeds and Sleep seeds.

Well, I've played the game twice, and both the time's I was around Level 30....So I would say level 25-30 if you ask me.
