Do I have to have a certain friend area for me to get Groudon on my team because I only have the rare birds.

Just like the birds Groudon will give you his friend area but unlike the birds his recruitment percentage is only -10%.
Well no as soon as you recruit him you automaticly obtain his friend area.
Other Pokemon such as rayquaza,kyogre and deoxys you get there friend area after recruiting them
No it's like the three birds if you kill them and they want to join you're team they
come with their own freind area.Also like other lengendary pokemon such as mew-two, kyorge, rayquaza, celebi, and jirachi also deoxy
