Western Cave is a favorite of many for training up your Pokes (there's lots of Reviver Seeds), but you can bring them to the Dojo or just drag a low level one with a higher level one to get it up faster, a Joy Ribbon will give extra points if the Pokemon receives damage(plus remember you get 50% of exp points for using the "regular" move to knock it out, 100% if you use an actual move, and 150% if you use linked moves), and going into a Ghost House and using a move that'll take out the whole room (Heat Wave, Earthquake) will bring lots of points(just make sure who's with you isn't in the room!)or turn it into a whole floor of Ghost House with a One-Room Orb if you're alone or don't think you'll knock out your own team. Silver Trench has Monster House Floors on the 15th, 35th, 55th, and 75th floors.(Petrify Orbs will help), plus any of the tougher/larger dungeons will be good training as you get higher up especially. And Joy seeds can save you a lot of time, too, so use those WM codes you got from Smithy-you'll probably be back for more-LOL!-as that's the easiest way, but cheating to some, but it's up to you really.
And, yes, Stormy Sea has 40 floors. Kyogre should be at level 37, and you CAN recruit him on the first try, so make sure your leader is a higher level and maybe bring a friend bow, too; it's one of the easier recruits.

There are NO Rare Candys in this game, just Joy Seeds which serve the same purpose though.
Again, just ignore cyber_john3000! He doesn't seem too concerned about the accuracy of his answers or getting the correct info out there, just about getting "points" even if they're for wrong answers I guess or why else answer so many questions incorrectly? *sigh*
