If your are talking about wondermail codes I would say I don't no what that means but this is the key for most wondermail codes:-

- is the minus sign

+ is the positive sign

(m) is the male sign

(f) is the female sign

(...) is the three dot thingy sign


Unless this also (--) means the negative sign.

I hope this the right answer your were looking for

It's a symbol recuired for SOS/WM code's...you see the dash thing. Use that.
