Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

I got to the 10th floor I opened the door that you can get the HM. But I can't get to it because I have to use surf. But I'm a machoke. So I can't surf. Plz help.

If you have to use surf, I would use a water Pokemon to go across the water, or I would get your leader Pokemon to eat lots of Gummi's so it learns the iq skill "all terrain hiker".

Confusing question, but why don't you just use an all terrain walker or water type to get you over the water-Flying types will work as will those that can walk through wall, too, though! The only time in Solar Cave you need to get across water is on the 20th Floor when you're trying to get HM Surf(so you can't need it to get it-got me??) You only need keys for 10th Floor to get the link cable, the 15th Floor to get HM Waterfall, you won't need it to get to HM Surf, just be able to get across the water one of the ways mentioned above.
