Uhhhhh...ya does anyone know how deep pitfall valley is and any tips for beating rikue for the first time without a legendary and what are the chances of each dog joining?

Pitfall valley..as far as I remember it has 40 floors, if you surpass 40 then I was mistaken, but I think it has 40 floors. Raikou is and eletrick type Pokemon, they are weak against ground types so if any chance you have a ground type Pokemon or attack, that would be great, I think raikou is at level 40 so a level 50 Pokemon will be good. They will join you the next time you battle them. But you should buy their friend area first.

Pitfall valley is actually 20 floors deep!(same with other)

Pitfall Valley has 25 floors, and I wouldn't recomend going in with a water type. For Rikou don't have a water type. Use a fire, fighting or a steel type.
