Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

I can't beat zapdos I have a torchic and pikachu wot level do they need to be on and which items shall I take first time I took 3 reviver seeds but they got used up before got to him.

Try to level to 20 or 25, and use some graveler rocks or spikes, everyone is having trouble with zappy and zappy is the easiest to beat.
