Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

I need help. I'm trying to beat zapdos but I keep losing. My party are two level 17 treecko and charmander.my charmander has growl,ember.scrach,and metal claw. My treecko has absorb,hidden power,pursuit,facade.can someone tell me how to beat zapdoes.

Try getting a rock type Pokemon, or get friend bow, or raise your rank level, and make sure your leader finishes it off. All these increase your chances of recruiting it, (except the rock type one.)

Use gravelrocks and use you most powerful atacks,also you and your partner should be at least at lev 20.

Well ember is a good move to use, level to 20 or 25 since your level are mainly low.

Ok train your Pokemon to level 20+. Have a few sleep seeds , max exlers, berrys of all kinds. Then when you get to zapdos put him to sleep , then chage your pokemons IQ to 'exclusive move user', then attack with your best attacks (zapdos has pressure so use max exler when you need it)then repeat this untill victory is yours. And also having some teammates helps.
