Does anyone know an easier way to beat that big bird with the fire around..

It is moltres, and it is a flying type, so use gravel rocks and electric attacks.

Level your poke to 20 or 25 and if by any chance your a water/electric type it should be easy. But use graveler rocks and make her paralyze/burn/confuse/etc.

The best way is = lv24 be water or fire cos you can do a lot of damege if you are water.

Try finding a water type Pokemon to beat Moltres [the name of the bird]. Or really on luck !

Well I let my partner take all the damage while I use long range attacks. The bird's name is Moltres.

Moltres?? I'd use a Water type Pokemon, like Mudkip, who worked well for me against him until I recruited him after a couple of battles post story mode. Or even a strong Water attack may be good enough because I don't know what Pokemon you have or if you're still in story mode (but I'm guessing you are). Rock also works well against Fire-Types. Moltres is a Flying type, too, though. You could use an Electric type/attack, or a Rock type/attack which is also strong against Flying types. So Rock would do double damage! Try to get a Sudowoodo maybe-he'll have Rock Throw, Mimic, and Flail at Lv 10 and will get Low Kick at Level 17 and Rock Slide at Level 25. Or maybe a Geodude? Takes longer to get god rock moves, though. Either way, you can always try TM's, too. You may just need to level up your leader/partner or teammates some, too. Good Luck!

First, it's called Moltres, an easier way to beat it is to use water, electric, rock (doubly super efective), and moves that can paralyze, freeze (if you have any), or sleep. If you don't have such moves, then try leveling up 2-5 levels, and use your type's attack (ex. Chikorita-razor leaf, charmander-ember). Finally when the battle starts, use a gravelrock, blast seed, or a long range attack.
