Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

I want to evolve my Chameleon level 37 into a charizard is there a item I need for that or is my level to low

Your level is fine (Level 36 to evolve into Charizard-no item), and obviously you know where to go and how to evolve, so go for it! You know you can check the last page of his summary and it says whether or not evolution is possible, but I can't see why it wouldn't be-there's no IQ requirement that I'm aware of for it to happen.
