Hi guys, um.... I was just wondering I have an onix at the right level to evolve but when I go to luminous cave it doesn't evolve can someone please tell me why!

I think you need a link cable or something you can find it in solar cave but you need a key
To make it evolve, you need to find a Metal Coat and when you go to luminous cave, when it says "Do you wish to give an item?" You say yes then select the Metal Coat from your toolbox.

You need a link cable(item,available after you get fly,go back and get the link cable)and........ill get back to you on that one.
You have to give it a metal coat and a link cable when it asks you do you want to give your Pokemon an item.
