Well you have to battle them in there own places but if you mean you want them to join you have to get lucky and after you battle them they will join
You need a low level guy to survive till you get to the floor then leave your low level
Friend then deafeat the Pokemon you need to get.Articuno-frosty forest,moltres-mount blaze,zapdos-mt thunder,groudon-magma cavern,rayquaza-sky tower
And something special kyogere- seafloor cavern.
[you need the hm dive for kyogere,rayquaza fly] you have to beat rayquaza the first
