First off, the legendary birds are size 4. Your team can only be a size six at most. So, if Feraligator is a size 1, and Zapdos is a size 4, then you can't fit a size 4 Articuno in your party. You can, however, fit one more size 1 pokemon.

K Dawg answered:

You can't they take up two spaces Smile

Maplegod618 answered:

Let me explain things. Everyone has 4 slots. The more Pokemon you have the more slots you use up. Zapdos and Articuno cost 2 slots each because their legendary. There are some exceptions. Latias costs only 1 slot. So does Mew, Jirachi, And celebi.

Sharingan Sasuke* answered:

You can't, you see your team has a size limet of 6, the birds are size 4 each, and feraligator is a size 1, you see were i'm going with this right I hope so, later.
