Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

How do I recruit Ho-oh? I already bought Rainbow Peak from Wigglytuff and battled Ho-oh again after Spinda went away but it didn't want to join the team with a recruit rate of 99.9%. I always take my lvl 53 Moltes, 45 Feraligatr, and 43 espeon with me and never recruit anyone while going to Ho-oh am I just unlucky or did I forget something?

Well it depends did YOU defeat him or your team he will only join you if you beat him not your team if that dosnt work find a friend bow or try again hope it works

It because your team is too large. Moltres takes up a lot of space so if you want to recruit him, the maximum team size is two Pokemon with one * size

There are many answers. ONE- Make sure the leader makes the final blow.

TWO- Something is wrong with your game.

THREE- Maybe you got in the 0.1% area of no Pokemon join team.

Yo, Mr. Big Soggy Brain, I'm here to cordially remind you that

1. This 0.1% area does not exist
2. You seem to have completely forgotten that Pokemon have a base recruit rate based off of their level, meaning there's no way a level 10 pokemon has under 100% odds

Oops! Forgot my last step!

FOUR- Make sure you bring your Espeon and Feraligatr with you, because Moltres is too big to let Ho-Oh join the team.
