How do you evolve?
I can't figure out how to leave my partner (mudkip) in his friend area.

You go into a dungeon and complete it, if you're not going for a mission, choose short ones like tiny woods.

You simply go back to the team base and from there go south to where you exit for any rescue missions. Your partner will stop you and and talk to you about something of which I will not not spoil.after that conversation you are from then on out you can evolve alone.
