You evolve pikachu once you defeat the game and obtain a thunderstone for evolution. With the game over, a cave will open up where whiscash is and you will only be able to enter one at a time. Make pikachu the leader and leave everyone else in a friend area (once the game is over you will gain the ability to choose the leader and will no longer have to carry around a partner unless you want to *also, you can be your partner or any other Pokemon recruit) then, take a thunderstone (obtained either from higher floors of lightning field or with this wonder mail code:??FN Q5(...)? 48?
JN?J 646R -??W *wonder mail option in open screen of game or whatever the first thing it shows after start is* OK HERE IT IS::: GO in cave with thunderstone in your inventory It will ask you if you have an item for evolution Click on the thunderstone No more items for evolution It will then say something like "let us begin" Done Save before evolution just in case you change your mind and actually want to be pikachu
