Date of Question: Mar 25 2008 | Question ID: 113854 Ok, so I went to murky cave and gengar always dies. I have no problem with protecting him from everyone else besides the ghost types. They go into the walls and since gengar is a ghost he tries to beat them. I can't call for rescue because it's the client that dies, not me.how can I finish?

I have a good idea, have a mobile scarf with you, which gives you powers like ghosts, many food items, especially huge apples, and reviver seeds. If ghosts types attack, use the mobile scarf to go through the wall to attack the Pokemon back, so gengar can survive, and incase you don't make it in time, have the reviver seeds ready. Don't worry, there are only 20F in this dungeon. Also, if you have a Pokemon with attacks like silver wind or heat wave, that will attack all enemies no matter what, so use that if you are in the same room as the ghost. From: Alexx

Just make sure you have aloooooot of revciver seeds oran berries and all cure berries and ul be fine also make sure you're using you're started or somebiody very good like rayquaza the legend brids etc..

Little known fact but you can actually attack the ghost types with the rocks even if they are in the walls but if that doesn't work get a mobile scarf and make sure you have lots of belly recovory items like big apple.

Do you have a Ar? Or, have a ton of gravelrocks or geopebbles, and throw them at the ghost Pokemon in the walls. But only those 2 work nothing else.
