How do you easily train a level 22 yanma in HeartGold?

The quickest way to train any Pokemon is to feed it Rare Candies. However they are rare too rare for this to be too feasible.

The quickest training happens when you fight with a traded Pokemon (different OT) AND have that Pokemon hold a Lucky Egg. If you don't want to trade your Yanma, then giving it a Lucky Egg will still boost experience but not by as much.

Depending on where you are in the game, you can take the Yanma through the Elite 4. Simply give it an Exp. Share and fight using your other five pokemon. If you aren't that far, you can do the sam thing, but with gym leaders and trainers.

You can put your Yanma on your Pokewalker. Each step you take will give your Yanma one experience point. Your Pokemon can only go up one level per outing on the Pokewalker, you have to take it off then put it back on in order to go up more levels.

Putting your Yanma in the Daycare will also work well. One step in game equals one experience point. This is great if you are at a point where you have a lot of exploring to do. Be warned: If you Yanma reaches a level where it learns a new move, it will forget it's oldest move to learn the new one.

The following are some simple ways to train your Yanma...

1.) Drop it off in the Daycare anc back and forth, then pick it up.

2.) Put a Lucky Egg on it and fight Pokemon, it will give you a bit more exp then it would have got.

3.) You can also use Rare Candys, but as the name suggests, they are rare and more important than a Yanma.
