After you have Two Gym Badges and have made your way through the Ilex Forest, head north of Ilex Forest on Route 34. If you continue to go north, you will soon get to Goldenrod City. This is where you can find the Third Gym. The Gym Leader has Normal-Type Pokemon, so a Fighting-Type Pokemon should help you defeat her. After you defeat the Leader, she will not give you the Badge. You will have to talk to her again before she will give you the Third Gym Badge.

You are missing a verb.
If you want to get to the third gym, you need to find your way though the Ilex Forest.
If you want to get the gym leader back in the gym, you need to take the test in the radio tower.
If you want to get to the gym leader, you must find your way through the maze (which is shaped like a Clefairy).
