Find Bill in Ecruteak City. Once you've talked to him there, return to Goldenrod and talk to him at his home. He'll give you a level 5 Eevee for free. Breed it with a Ditto and you'll have yourself an Eevee egg.

What the above person said is true. You get the EEVEE from Bill. Once you have it, take it to the day care and level it up to about lvl 7. Then find a DITTO at Cianwood City on top of a water fall.( not CHUCK's water fall but the waterfall after the first cave. YOu gotta take the latter that goes down and follow the path. SURF to the left a bit and use waterfall on the first one you see. At the top should be a lot of DITTO around lvl 40 I think.( I have heard it can be found in the grass near the day care lvl 10 - 14) Then put your DITTO in the day care with EEVEE. Then go to your CP and get out a Pokemon that has the ability FLAME BODY or MAGMA ARMOR. (This cuts the amount of steps of geting and hatching an egg in half!) Then put it in the first potision in your party. Clear out the other slots in your party and then exit. Go Out side and get on your bike. Ride it all over Goldenrod Town and wait for a call from the DAY-CARE man or when he facing to the left. (Check on him often to see if he has an egg for you) Just keep riding all over Goldenrod until you got as many eggs as you want. Then keep on riing. The Eggs will hatch into EEVEEs quickly!

Oooooh, btw.. Ditto and eevee breed really fast ^_^ Ahahaa, I already have three eggs in like the past hour or so..

I got about 7 in 15-20 minutes lol. The longer you leave Eevee and Ditto in the daycare, the quicker they seem to breed. That's the impression I got yesterday when I was riding on my bike waiting for this. The Host kept calling me every couple of minutes hahaGuest answered:
Do they have to like each other? Because I put them in the day care and the guy said that they don't like each other very much so... Im just wondering if that will affect my chances at getting an egg.

If it says they don't like each other much they can still breed, but it'll take longer to get an egg. When the daycare man says they play with other Pokemon rather than each other, then they are not compatable and will not produce an egg.

You the lazy as cheats were you put your Pokemon in the daycare and go to the gym in erucket city then basically cheat does it count as steps for thr breeding
