Question for Pokemon Heart Gold

My son got SS and HG and a pokewalker for Christmas. He has tried everything he can think of and can't get the pokewalker to connect. Could someone show us their cartridge back so we can see if there is anything that looks like the connect spot for the infra red? We are beginning to think he has defective game carts.

Well once the game is in the DS you should have a option on the main screen where you select to continue your save game instead of selecting that move the cursor down to connect to pokewalker. Now it might be a defected game...but I really don't think so, I have figure out that if you want to connect the Pokewalker to the DS/game you need to make sure they line up exactly the back of the DS where the game is face the pokewalker. It might be best if you put both the DS and the pokewalker on something solid and leveled. To connect select the pokemon and the route and all that and hold down the center button on the pokewalker for 5 seconds and with both the DS and the Pokewalker lined up face eachothter on level ground it should work.
