Besides a masterball, what is the best type of poke`ball to cath HO-OH with?

All pokeballs are pretty much the same but masterballs don't let pokemon break free.If you don't have a masterball you have to weaken the pokemon first.

It's better if you go at night and use Dusk Balls because they are better than Ultra Balls during the night because Ultra Balls have a capture rate of 2x while Dusk Balls have a capture rate of a whopping 3.5 during night or in a cave (while it has only an average ((1x)) rate during day)

have 3 pokemon over lvl 50 and have 45 ultra balls, 25 nest balls, 12 dusk balls, 2 heavy balls (Blk apricorns), and 37 Timer balls. you should also have 5-50 revive pending. Good luck

you should try a ultra ball but i don't think it will work i had ho-oh in red and i could not catch him with it.

definately dusk balls all my lengenderies are caught in dusk balls

Use a dusk ball. It is the best way without using a Master Ball. I recomanned you to ues the Master ball on Rayquaza.

I think you should try and get in to 1 hp and put it to sleep then/or get all the pp out of it's moves then use a timer ball, ultra ball or dusk ball
