Spikey-eared Pichu
I finally got the spiky-eared Pichu, but I'm wondering... What would happen if I tried to evolve it? I mean, would it become a spiky-eared Pikachu or a regular Pikachu? Or is it more of a collector pokemon?

Read my answer in the SoulSilver section please. There's no need to have a duplicate question for the counter-part game since I check both the HeartGold and SoulSilver questions daily.

I'm afraid your hopes of seeing a Spiky-eared Pikachu or Raichu are dead. The Spiky-eared Pichu can't evolve. After you receive it, Prof. Elm will notify all the Pokemon Centers that it may not be evolved due to all of the time traveling it had done in the past. Sorry.

You can't evolve a spiky eared pichu, imo the spiky eared pichu is a worthless Pokemon since you can't even trade it
