The chances of using a Poke Radar in the grass and seeing some grass patches change colors are VERY slim. And when this happens, it is ALWAYS a shiny Pokemon, and it does not increase your chances of running into a shiny Pokemon [in general]. I have no physical proof, but I can't say anything against it; Dawn/Lukas hints at it themselves if you, by some chance, talk to them in Sandgem Town; they'll mention the grass changing colors, and how it's said that a Pokemon of a different color is found in that case. So I assume it's true.

Well frankly, I don't believe so. And just so you know there is really no way to get unequivocal proof of it unless it gives you significantly greater odds something more like 1/100 might show but if it changes to 1/5000 no one will ever notice. When you say flashing, you mean the grass that rustles I'm assuming, and that is just to show that there is a Pokemon there 100% of the time. Rumors have it that sometimes the grass will flash different colours indicating a shiny is around, but I will not believe that until I see it. So in conclusion it is my informed opinion that generally the pokeradar really is essentially unrelated to the chances of finding a shiny pokemon.
And yes I noticed too the lack of updates and trivia did you know that aspirin is also called actylsalicylic acid (ASA)?

I hear that the ods of catching a shint is 1/18000 or 1/1800 sory for not having the exact details but if the grass does it is because theres a shiny there ut I only cought 1 shiny Pokemon and that was without using the pokeradar.Now I use it alot and I havnt come across a shiny once...
