You put the protector on a rydon and the traid it and your rydon will evolve in to ryimphador.

rhydon then trade him he'll evolve into rhyperior

Well I suppose to answer your question it would be Rhydon. But for it to actually do anything rhydon must be traded while holding the protector and then he will evolve into the wicked cool Rhyperior.

The item protector can be held by a rhydon and if traded, then rhydon will evolve into a rhyperior.

Give it to a Rhydon and then trade it. After the trade, you get a Rhyperior, huzzah!

Rhydon likes the item a lot, as you'll understand when you read the description. Have a Rhydon hold the Protector, and trade him into another Diamond or Pearl to get Rhyperior.

It belongs to rhydon. When you trade it while hes holding it rhydon evolves.
