Question for Pokemon Diamond
Mitsu I was not lieing about the shiny Pokemon I have video proof and ill put it up at you tube.com.well moving on what happens when I breed a shiny chimchard an a ditto could I get a shiny chimchard?an if this works could I do it for legendary.

I don't think the Pokemon that will hatch will be a shiney Pokemon but you can give it a try.

Yep, and everything on you-tube is real. So is santa. So is the tooth fairy. And the easter bunny visits me every Friday for tea and scones... His name is frank... Look, I just meant it "seemed" false, due to how many there were. There pretty rare an encounter. (You're the one who has lots of different Pokemon, that you caught in one game, right?) Anyway, if you're not lying, you're very lucky, so congratulations!
Anyway, to answer your question, you can breed shiny Pokemon, but the chances of the egg Pokemon (it's baby) being shiny are the same as the chances of you encountering one in the wild, or the chances of a regular Pokemon having a shiny baby. You probably wont have shiny baby Pokemon (but knowing your luck, you probably will! *grins*)
You should try it anyway, because Chimchar are one offs in the game anyway... You could always trade them.
Also, the legendary Pokemon will not under any circumstances have eggs. Ditto or not. Try all you like (I have!) it wont work. The only reason I have several of each, is because I kept a "home game cart" (ruby) and re-played all my other carts/colloseum/xd a few times, and traded the legendaries over to my "home cart" it takes a long time, but I replay them from time to time anyway.

The chances of that happening are highly unlikely.
And the only legendary you can breed is Manaphy, so breeding a legendary would be a "no".
