I want to start a new game. How will I do that?

Either pick "new game" from the start up menu, or erase your save data by holding specific buttons before the start up screen is loaded (you can find these out by hitting new game). Hope I Helped!

Seriously? Can you not read or something? The screen where it says continue and shows how many badges you have and how many Pokemon you have seen right below it, it says new game, below that it says something about wifi setting. So if you were to guess on which button to hit which would you say? New game might be a smart answer.

When you turn the game on and you get to choose either "continue", "options", and "wi-fi connections" there should alsao be a option called "start new game" click it then ignore the next screen (it talks about loosing all the previously saved data) then your game starts (and when you save your new game READ CAREFULLY.

First, you need to delete your current save data. At the screen where the shadow of Dialga is shown, press the buttons B + UP + SELECT. Then, select "Yes" both times you're asked a question. Then, simply start a new game by selecting "New Game" in the start menu (I believe this should be the only available choice, besides "Options").

To start a new game, go to the Diamond and Pearl main menu. Click on 'New Game'. I recommend you choose Piplup when you start the new game, because you'll be able to get through the first few gyms pretty easy.

To start a new game, go to the dialga/palkia screen and push up, select, and B
Simitaniously or something close to that word. Then there should be a delete
Previous game save file screen and you shoukd be able to do the rest by yourself
(if you can read of course)It may take a while to delete a game file.

Once that is done than go on ahead to a new game.

Easy, mate! Just select that in the startup menu when you first turn on your game. The game cart only allows for one game per gamecart/card, so you'll lose the one you have now. When you go to save in your new game, it will tell you that thee is different game data on the gamecard, just save over it anyway and you will have your new game.

It is possible to play a whole new game whilst still being able to keep your old game, but the problem is, you must never do anything in this new game to ever save it. This means no trading, no going underground, no saving your game before big battles, no trading Pokemon, and of course, no switching off the game. Ever. But you can achieve this by leaving your ds plugged into the wall.

I wouldnt recommend this, however, because your power might go out, or your house might burn down! And it's pretty useless because you can't trade Pokemon at all. But if you want to play a challenge, it's fun.
