Hi I am starting to get sick of using infernape and rapidash, but since they are the only fire Pokemon avalable in the first part of the game I have to use them. E give me a fire Pokemon substitute?

:( Sadly, you are right... I'm a huge fire-type fan and there are too many water types... No substitutes, that I know of.

'ello...if you want another fire type, may I suggest getting eevee from bebe right next to the pokecenter or you could wait until the master of the Pokemon mansion sees one in his trophy garden. First talk to him and then answer yes to both of his questions and you will possibly get a rare pokemon...i've already caught a bonsly, minun, and meowth. If you don't want to wait, you might just have to migrate from your gba games.
Magmar. Or trade one from someone else. Can't you teach other Pokemon fire moves?
Until you obtain the National Dex, there's not much you can do.
Once you do get the National Dex, you can catch Magcargo and Camerupt in Stark Mountain. Heatran is also a good one.
