Hi This might sound odd but why won't my Clamperl evolve? Its got the Deep Sea Scale and it's at level 48. Please help! Oh and are there any other ways to get a Master Ball? I used mine and need another one to catch Cressilia?

Clampeark Evolves with Deep Sea Scale or Deep Sea Tooth via Trade holding the Items. You have to trade with someone else. The only other way to get extra Master Balls are
1) Action Replay
2) Ask someone with an action replay to trade you a master Ball.
*** Cresselia ****
A little advice on cacthing her. Get a Pokemon with Mean Look. Preferably Umbreon. Umbreon is a Dark Type so he is Immune to Cresselia attacks and if you use like Bite or Faint Attack that should drop her life good enough for you to capture her.
Dude, for clamperl to evolve, you must trade it while it's holding the deep sea scale. Since it's pretty high, once you do evolve it, you might want to go to the move tutor guy that accepts heart scales. Take your huntail there and it'll learn the moves it missed.
Doofbucket 101 out!
Hey...you have to trade it while holding the deep sea scale and the options to ge ta master ball are plentiful...you could always cheat or you could keep starting any other compatible Pokemon game over after trading the master ball to Pokemon diamond or pearl.
You have to trade it. Win the lottery, or migrate one from a past game (hold item) You MAY get it with pickup ability (Must be Lv100, and it's still rare) Check the Pokemon Pearl Section to see my cheat on catching it (and rate it too. Pretty plz ;))

Clamperl evolves when it is holding a deepsea scale/deepsea tooth and is being traded.
Try your luck on the lottery for another master ball.
Well first off, you have to trade clamperl with dea sea scale/tooth attached for it to evolve. You can get a masterball by winning the lottery... The only problem with that is that you have to win the lottery which is about a 1/10000 chance so forget it. You can try and trade for something over the GTS thats holding a masterball, but itll cost you. Otherwise just man up and work hard to catch cresselia, you do not need a masterball to catch it, it just makes it way easier.
You have to trade it while it's holding the deepseascale or the deepseatooth. You will either get huntail or gorebyss. (I prefer gorebyss)
I'm pretty sire you are suppsoed to trade the clampearl -.-
Use a Action Replay to get more masterballs. You can trade one from someone else.
1. You need to trade the Clamperl into Pearl to evolve him >.<
2. Besides cheating, there's a small chance you'll get one as a Lottery prize in the Jubilife TV Station.
Dusk Balls would work on Cresselia, too, you know... As long as you keep her in battle.
If I remember correctly you have to trade it, and it'll evolve in the trade. (I don't have a WFC so I can't give you a friend code.)
I have a question... I leveled up my Clamperl in Ruby to 51 thinking it would evolve. I found out via a friend that you need to trade it to make it evolve. Sigh, alright. I gave it the DSTooth because I wanted the huntail. I just traded it to my Diamond, literally I just traded it. It didn't evolve!! Argh... its driving me crazy, I've been looking for answers for about 30 mins now. NObody else seems to have this problem. I've even raised it another level inside Diamond. I just reread what I wrote and was wondering if trading and migrating are the same thing. I believe it has worked for some other pokemon I've migrated over but why not my Clamperl? Im just trying to fill in my pokedex. I sure could use some help.
