Hi, I'm searching on the details on magby/magmarizer/magmortar and elekid..

Part 1 to your question. To obatin Magby who has the Magmarizer you need to insert Leaf Green and look in Stark Mountain or on Route 227.
Magby evolves to Magmar at lvl 30 and into Magmortar via trading with the Magmarizer attached.

To obatin Elekid who has the Electrizer you need to insert Fire Red and look in
Route 204-South or Valley Windworks.
Elekid evolves to Electabuzz at lvl 30 and into Electivire via trading with the Electrizer attached.

Part 2
You can get them both in Diamond and Pearl.

Part 3
The chances of getting the item are pretty good. I caught Elekid 5 times outside of Valley Windworks and 4 out of the five had the item for evolving.

Magby is on route 227 when Emerald is inserted. Elekid is on Valley Windworks with Fire Red inserted. I would think you do have to use the poke radar for both. Electrizer is about 50% on both Pearl and Diamond. Magmarizer on Diamond is 5% and on Pearl it is 50%.......I hope that helped.

You have to have the firered gba game in to get elekid(can't remember where you find him but someone answered that questions sumwhere else) and the leafgreen to have magby...wild elekid hold the electrizer and wild magby hold the magmarizer. You have to trade the electabuzz holding the electrizer and the magmar holding the magmarizer and I don't think you need the pokeradar to get either one.

Insert Fire Red (Magby) or Leaf Green (Elekid) into the dual slot. I'm not sure what goes next, check serebii.net

You have some of the names wrong. It's magby/MAGMAR/magmortar and elekid/ELECTABUZZ/electivire searching those names may help. I know you can breed to get magby and elekid. And you can find electabuzz and magmar in leaf green and fire red, I think you may get them by trading with an in game character (an npc) but I think you need bith fire red and leaf green as there is only one type in each game. but I'm sorry I can't help you much with the electivire/magmortar thing...

However, what I do know is that to get them, electabuzz/magmar need to be holding a certain item (i'm not sure what) and they need to be traded holding it. hope I helped!

Insert leaf green for magby with the magmarizer found on stark mountain and fire red for electabuzz with the electrizer found at the valle windworks. You can find both on diamond just insert the games. You do not need the pakeradar. The chances they will hold the item is like 1/10 or so.. Maybe more

You can find both Pokemon in Diamond. They're both pretty common. I don't think you need the Poke Radar... Moving along.

For Magby, insert a LG and look around Stark Mountain and Route 226. There's about a 5% chance one will hold the Magmarizer in Diamond, but a 50% chance he'll hold on in Pearl.

For Elekid, insert a FR and look around the Valley Windworks. There's about a 5% chance one will hold the Electrizer in Pearl, but a 50% chance he'll hold one in Diamond.

Now you know the differences. Now, in general, evolve Magby into Magmar and Elekid into Electabuzz. Have Magmar hold the magmarizer and Electabuzz the electrizer. Then, trade them into Pearl and trade them back to get Magmortar and Electivire.
