Hi I was wandering if anyone could tell me how to get surf and how to..

Alright , how to get Surf is to go to Pastoria City(you have to beat Crasher Wake).
Directions:Talk to a Team Galatic man and he'll run from you.Follow him and you'll battle your rival.Beat him and heal or keep following the man , it doesn't matter.When you catch up with him talk to him and
He'll run again.Keep repeating this and he will get tired.Then you'll battle him.He is weak and when you
beat him go up and there will be Lake Valor and that girl will be there and she will say that they won't let her in Lake Valor.Then she will ask you to take something to her grandmother.Say yes and she will give you a potion that will heal the Pokemon blocking the way to Celestic Town.Go to the route above Solaceon City and talk to the crowd of pokemon blocking the way and give them the potion.They will move and you can go to Celestic Town.You may need the HM Defog were you get in the Great Marsh.When you get to the Celestic Town you will see an old woman , she is the one your are loking for.Go talk to her and she will not like that a Team Galactic member is blocking the way to a cave in the midle of Celestic Town.Go beat him and give the necklace to her then go in and look at the painting on the wall.She will come in and give you Surf.
Rock Climb now:
You must beat the 7th Gym Leader to use this HM.Go to the mountain from Celestic Town and go up keep going up you'll run into a foggy area and all you have to do is to keep going up , soon you'll get out to a snowy area then keep going up and you'll run into a place that you have no choice but to beat a trainer , then go northwest until you run into a house with only a hiker in it and talk to him and he'll say he lost something , go above his house and find HM Rock Climb , go back to his house and he says you can have it but he gives you something for your kindness , that will be an Icicle Plate.

1. After you've obtained the first 4 badges [Oreburgh, Eterna, Veilstone, and Pastoria] talk to some grunt in the northeastern corner of Pastoria City. Before you chase him, go in the Safari Zone he was just in front of, and talk to some guy near the entrance to get HM05 Defog. Now, get out of there and heal up. Continue on chasing him, and battle your rival. Keep going, following the grunt into Route 213. Once you get inside the house that connects Route 213 to Valor Lakefront, talk to the guy behind the counter to heal up. Continue chasing the grunt, until you battle him. Once you beat him, go up and talk to Cynthia. She'll give you the secretpotion. With this, go to Solaceon Town and go all the way up on Route 210, until you see the Psyduck. Give them the secretpotion, and Cynthia will come up and give you the Old Charm. Now, make sure you have a flying type in your team to use Defog, and continue onto the northern part of Route 210, using Defog to help you out. Get through that, and battle the grunt in the middle of Celestic Town. Once you beat him, the old woman comes up and notices the Old Charm, and takes it from you. Go in the cave, and talk to back wall. She'll come up again and give you HM03 Surf, but you can't use it until you beat the gym in Hearthome City, which is now available!

2. Once you've obtained the first 6 badges, you need to go trough Mt. Coronet and eventually onto Route 216 and 217. You'll find HM08 Rock Climb near a house on the western part of Route 217. But you can't use it until you've obtained the seventh badge [Snowpoint City], which happens to be where you're headed off to!
