How can you catch a shiney Pokemon other than using the poke radar or cheating...

A shiny pookemon is like a random event. You never know when your going to encounter one. They appear like normal Pokemon, all you have to do is walk through tall grass. But the chances of you actually encountering a shiny Pokemon is 8623 to 1. Thats the only REAL way to catch them.

You could trade one from another person. Although it could possibly be hacked.

There's a chance of about 1/9000 probability that you'll run into a shiny pokemon. It's very rare, but possible to encounter in-game.

Um you might be able to just run into them in the wild or that might just be the old games. But as I know I would say stick with the poke radar or cheat, but I would prefer poke radar.

You can't. You can only catch a shiny Pokemon with PokeRadar (except for Action Replay). When you use PokeRadar and you see a grass that shakes with silver, go to that grass quickly before it escapes! Your chances of catching a shiny Pokemon are 1 to 8,180. As you can see, it takes luck to get and encounter a shiny Pokemon.

You walk around until you hear a Pokemon cry and then there is a shiny Pokemon in that area eventually you will find it just keep searching

You just find them anywhere in the wild but there isn't much chance of finding one. I have not even seen one and I play it almost every day (except when I do the level 100 cheat thing) I got the game when it came out June 21

If you put two dittos in the day care it is more likeley you find a shiny in the wild
