Question for Pokemon Diamond
Hi, I wanna migrate my swampert from Emerald, but it wont let me coz it knows surf, but when I try and delete it the move deleter tells me that swampert doenst want to forget surf.How do I make it forget it?

Do you have the badge that lets you control him if you don't have this then you need to get it because the move deleter will make any Pokemon forget a move but if you can't then that is why madukes_159

You can't. If the Move Deleter tells you Swampert won't forget Surf, you can't get rid of it

That shouldn't happen so either you have hacked your game and that is a side effect or there is a glitch. I recomend trading it to a friend and have him/her erase the move in their game.

Ok so whats happened is nintendo doesn't Pokemon with HM because Diamond or Pearl don't have all those HM's (like dive) so they have made so you can't migrate Pokemon with a HM. Also you can't delete HM's so your Swampert will have to stay in Emerald you should try using the GTS.

Teach another Pokemon surf and then swampert will forget it. Then migrate swampert to diamond.

If that's the only move he knows, then that's why.
Other than that, try to get another Pokemon know surf, just catch a Tentacool or something and teach him it, and have him in your team.
I don't know if it's because he's the only one in your team who knows Surf, but I don't have any other explanation ><

Ok, I'm not quite sure what you're saying, but I'll try to help you.
Put your Swampert in you party. Go to Lillycove City. Got to the house that is two house to the right of the Lillycove Department Store. Inside you will find an old man, he is the Move Deleter. Talk to him, and he will ask if you want to forget a move. Say yes. He will ask which Pokemon wants to forget a move. Pick Swampert. He will say, which move should be forgotten. Pick Surf. Finally, the Move Deleter will say "Hmmm, Swampert's surf should be forgotten?" Say yes. Bingo. Bam. Hey Presto, one Swampert without surf ready to migrate.

I don't think so you can remove it.....maybe you can try teaching it to someone else on you're team and den try
