Squirtle are unobtainable in Diamond and Pearl. You need to transfer one from FR/LG through Pal Park.

You can only find a squirtle by migrating one or reciving one in a trade.you should look for one in the trading forum.a lot of members have one,including me

You find a Squirtle as a possible starter in FR/LG, that can be migrated into Diamond at Pal Park once you've obtained the National Dex. It's as simple as that.
Sorry, but the only way to find him in-game is by cheating.

You have to migrate a Squirtle from a GBA game. To do that, beat the Pokemon League, get the National Dex (See every Sinnoh Pokemon [including Palkia/Dialga] and talk to Prof. Rowan), and travel all the way to the end of route 221 and find Pal Park. Simple enough but it can be frustrating to see all the Pokemon if you haven't already.

You can't find any starters from any generation, aside from pikachu, in the wild. You have to use ar or pal park.

If you have FireRed or LeafGreen, you can get a squirtle by doing the following.
1. Stick FireRed or LeafGreen in your DS.
2. Beat the game.
3. Get the National Pokedex.
4. Go to Migrate from FireRed/LeafGreen.
5. Migrate the squirtle and catch it in Pal Park near route 221.

You can't find a squirtle in the game. But you can migrate it over from Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald or you can organise a trade over WiFi
