I'm right infront of dialga right now and I saved how long do you think it would take to get it to be shiny

If you want it to be shiny, you have like about a 1/100 chance of getting it shiny. So that is a long time before you get it shiny.

It's random and has a 8192/1 chance of finding a shiny, that includes legendaries.

A very, VERY long time.
The probability of running into a shiny is like 1/900. So it could take you over 900 times of restarting your game if you're that desperate for a shiny.
Shiny Pokemon aren't the most important thing in the game. It's honestly not worth it. I mean, sure, if you incidentally run into a shiny, it's worth catching it, but to purposely run into one could take forever.

The chance of it being shiny are 1 in 8192(or somethign close) so it maybe a while

Well the only way to get it is to be lucky and keep battling for a 1/8192 chance of getting one.
