This may not sound fast but you could raise your starter Pokemon to level 90 because thats what I did and beat the Pokemon leag faster. ps. I used a empoleon for this but it may not work fo torterra or infernaepe
Pps. I did not cheat to get my level 96 empoleon ...

Train your Pokemon to were they always get a 1 Hit KO which is best done by knowing the pokemons weakness and using it to your advantage.

You can try to level up in the upper level 60's. Even Pokemon in the 50's can help.
Try to have these types in your party:
Fire, Ground/Rock, Grass, Fighting, Ghost/Dark, Ice.
An example of each would be:
Rapidash, Graveller, Roserade, Machoke, Haunter/Spiritomb, Weavile.
To have a ground&rock and ghost&dark Pokemon, I would highly reccomend. If you cannot get Spiritomb, try to get Haunter, Gengar if you can.
