Question for Pokemon Diamond

My Pokemon Diamond game keeps freezing in the same spot every time I play it. I start at the Pokemon Center in Celestic Town and walk left. There are stairs there but I can't walk down them because it always freezes. Is there a way to transfer all of my data from this Pokemon Diamond game to a brand new Pokemon Diamond game? Thanks for your help.

No, currently there is no simple way to transfer all your data, and transfering data would include the glitch.

There is not. Have you cheated? If so, there's the answer to it freezing on you. If it got damaged accidentally, sorry, but I guess you're just going to have to start a new game, or buy a new game to be safer.

I'd say the only way to save your game's data as best as you can is to get either Pearl or another Diamond and trade everyone over there and reset the game. You could also try something like Fly and go to a different city and fly back and see if anything happens then or just go to a different place and then try and come back. The same thing happened in LG when I tried to get off surfing to fight Mewtwo
