Question for Pokemon Diamond

Will someone tell me where to get a ditto plz.
Is it possible to put a ditto with a male evee and get and egg.

You can get one on route 218 it's right next to canalave city and yes you can get an egg that way as long as they get along.

After you've obtained the National Dex and the Poke Radar, go to Route 218 [east of Canalave] and use the Poke Radar in that patch of grass. Apparently, Ditto is rare, so have patience.

And yes, you can breed Ditto with Eevee because Ditto can breed with any gendered Pokemon except for legendaries [excluding Manaphy. Manaphy can breed with Ditto to get Phione, however, Phione cannot evolve into Manaphy].

First question is yes you can transfer from firered/leafgreen. And yes why shouldn't you be able to put an male Evee with a Ditto and get an egg. If you couldn't. How would people get little baby evees!:D
