Question for Pokemon Diamond

I heard a rumor that if you use a gba you can mix records with gold/silver/crystal and emerald. Than aparently you get all the nintndo event stuff on emerald. After that if you mix records between diamond and emerald you get all the nintendo event stuff on diamond. I think it's called mystery gift or something. Is this true all bogus?

You cannot mix GBA games with GBC games which means you wouldn't get anything on Emerald meaning you can't get Nintendo Event stuff for Diamond. Mystery Gift is used to get Nintendo Event items for Diamond. To send Pokemon from Emerald to Diamond, you migrate them using the option on the main menu after getting the National Dex

Sounds like bogus stuff to me, but if you want the mystery gift go to the jubilife tv station and on the second or third floor a guy will inter view you and you must say "Everyone Happy"and then"Wi-Fi Connection" then he says he will "pull some strings" and then on the main menu where you can migrate and stuff there will be a mystery gift section
