Question for Pokemon Diamond
How do I get the weird-looking Pokemon? For example, a blue Ponyta or green Clefairy. I really want one extra badly, so please help!!

Wierd looking Pokemon huh? Those are called Shiny Pokemon, around since gen II, they are extremely difficult to find, very rare, only a 1 in 8192 chance of finding ONE, not very good odds eh? It is a fair deal easier to come across legendary or event Shinies, because you know they'll be in one place. So you can save, and then try over and over again to see if it's Shiny or not, if not, which is what most of it will be, you just shut off the game, and try again. Its not an easy course, it can take days, to get it, even weeks sometimes, and they have no better stats than any other Pokemon, so you're far better off just waiting, and hoping harder than anything to find one.

You mean shiny Pokemon? You will only get on in 1 in 7000 of a chance. They are slim, but without cheating, you have to live with being lucky to find a shiny Pokemon.

These type of Pokemon are called Shiny Pokemon.
You can obtain and capture Shiny Pokemon by catching them in tall grass or anywhere else you can encounter wild Pokemon at. Though please note that this may take a while. The chances of catching a shiny Pokemon are 1/8192 I believe, so good luck.
