Question for Pokemon Diamond

What meaning does the shiny rock on the route ahead the elite four have? Because the girl that you lead out of the cave to get out of the cave tells you that there is a Pokemon that visits it. Does anyone know what Pokemon that is or when it comes?

This is for Shaymin. The only way to make Shaymin appear near the rock is to cheat, mystery gift, or go to a nintendo event to get the Oak Letter.
